Abstract: This article is devoted to studying the problems of technological development of the agricultural sector, an analysis of existing approaches to assessing its level. The analysis of the existing systems of indicators of technological development. With the help of the correlation analysis, their research is carried out in conjunction with other economic indicators, reflecting the changes in the production technologies of agricultural organizations. It proves the fact that labor productivity is the main indicator in assessing the technological development of agricultural production.
